!!! Satellite events to take place on
Monday 13th:
Professional Development : 2:30 - 4:30 pm (Tivoli 640: Zenith) Thematic discussion groups where trainees may interact with a couple of more senior facilitators to ask questions and share experiences in a more direct and informal setting.
Workshop on ‘Omics’: 4:30 - 6:00 pm (Zenith) Ben Reiner, Assistant Professor, Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania Neurogenetics in Practice: a methods tour
In this methods-focused lecture, “Neurogenetics in Practice: A Methods Tour,” Dr. Benjamin C. Reiner will guide attendees through the practical toolkit used to connect genes, brain biology, and behavior. The talk will move across the neurogenetics “methods stack,” from human genetic nomination strategies such as linkage and GWAS, to sequencing platforms, epigenomic and transcriptomic assays, single-cell and spatial approaches, atlases, and circuit-level tools. Emphasis will be placed on matching scientific questions to appropriate methods, understanding what each approach can and cannot claim, recognizing common failure points and controls, and building stronger evidence pipelines by triangulating across molecular, cellular, circuit, and behavioral levels.

To All Poster Presenters,
Please find below some important information regarding poster setup and presentation during the conference:

  1. Poster Dimensions
Each poster board can accommodate one poster with maximum dimensions of 48 inches (4 ft) wide × 48 inches (4 ft) high. Posters may be printed in either landscape or portrait orientation, provided they do not exceed these dimensions.

  2. Poster Installation
Presenters are responsible for mounting their posters prior to the start of their assigned poster session.

  3. Poster Removal and Responsibility
Presenters are responsible for their posters throughout the conference. All posters must be removed at the conclusion of the poster session. Please note that conference organizers will not be responsible for storing or returning posters that remain after the session has ended.

  4. Poster Design and Presentation
The poster sessions are expected to attract a large number of conference attendees and will feature numerous presentations. To maximize visibility and engagement, we encourage presenters to ensure that their posters are clear, concise, visually appealing, and well organized, allowing attendees to quickly grasp the key findings and significance of the work.

OUR MISSION

The International Narcotics Research Conference (INRC) is an international forum for pre-clinical and clinical researchers to strengthen our knowledge of opioid pharmacology and function.  Our society provides the opportunity to share cutting edge and pioneering advancements related to all disciplines of opioid research. The INRC meetings are a platform for the design of evidence-based guidance for constructive use of opioids for pain management, and understanding of opioid misuse and abuse.
